Mipa Weld-Primer is a thin-film, fast-drying welding primer with very good adhesion to steel, iron and galvanised substrates – suitable for MIG, TIG and spot welding. Its high proportion of active pigments provides very high corrosion protection and opacity even in thin films. The Zink-Alu version offers higher active corrosion protection, while the Kupfer version offers higher conductivity.

Application

Use
For body welding work: clean the substrate with Mipa silicone remover, sand steel with P 180 or galvanised surfaces with P 220 and degrease. Welding can begin shortly after application; the primer can then be overcoated with common topcoat systems. Do not overcoat with polyester materials. Dispatch
Orders received by 1 pm on working days are dispatched with DPD the same day. Every shipment gets a tracking number; with DPD Predict you receive a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Standard insurance cover 520 € per parcel.
Dangerous goods
Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
