Mipa Vorreiniger „Express“ is a professional, chromate-free cleaner for the simple and fast pre-treatment of bare metal surfaces. It forms a chemically highly effective, anti-corrosive conversion layer, improves the adhesion of fillers to metal and increases corrosion protection – etch primers as a pre-priming step can be dispensed with.

Application
| Preparation | clean the substrate with Mipa silicone remover, sand (steel P 120, aluminium/zinc P 220), clean again |
| Applying | apply evenly in a crosswise pattern with MP degreasing wipes or lint-free microfibre cloths; keep the surface wetted for at least 1 min |
| Flash-off time | approx. 2–3 min – then overcoat within 15 min |
| Overcoatable | with Mipa 2K acrylic primers and fillers (not with 1K primers, etch primers, UV fillers or polyester materials) |
Use
Ideal in the repair process before applying filler to bare metal: treat only one type of metal per cloth and do not reuse cloths that have dried out. Perfect in combination with Mipa Silikonentferner and Mipa 2K fillers from our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
