The Mipa BC Thinner is the special thinner for the Mipa BC mixing system. Before use, Mipa BC basecoats are adjusted to spray viscosity 2 : 1 by volume with BC thinner – and as “BC-VDG” it is also an integral part of the BC colour formulations.
Properties
- Matched to Mipa BC 2-coat basecoats and BC mixing paints
- Standard addition 2 : 1 by volume to the mixed basecoat
- Sets the recommended spray viscosity of 16–18 s (4 mm DIN)
- Also available in the Mipa range as BC thinner slow for slower flash-off

Areas of application
Adjust the mixed Mipa BC basecoat to spray viscosity with BC thinner and apply in 2–3 semi-wet spray coats. At high application temperatures Mipa recommends the BC additive VDG-HV as an alternative. Matching Mipa BC mixing paints and Mipa 2K clearcoats are also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
