The Mipa 2K-Löser is a special solvent blend (blending thinner) for dissolving overspray edges during spot repair work and blend-in refinishing. It can also be used to soften existing old paintwork in order to improve intercoat adhesion to the subsequent coating.
Properties
- Visibly smooths rough overspray edges in blend-in refinishing and spot repair
- Improves intercoat adhesion by softening old paintwork (test suitability beforehand)
- Can be used as a blending thinner with Mipa AC, Mipa PUR, Mipa OC and Mipa 2K-MS clearcoats
- Supplied ready to spray, colourless
- Very long shelf life: at least 4 years in the original container

Areas of application
The key to invisible transitions in partial refinishing: mist the overspray areas in thin coats immediately after spraying – do not apply too heavily, or runs may occur. When softening old paintwork, overcoat within a few minutes; do not use on thermoplastic substrates. Matching Mipa topcoats and clearcoats are also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
