The Mipa 2K HS Clearcoat matt CCM with a gloss level of 15–20 GU (60°) is a VOC-compliant high-solid acrylic clearcoat for high-quality matt paintwork (full and partial repainting) in the passenger car sector. It ensures a uniformly matted clearcoat film over solvent-borne and waterborne basecoats and is also very well suited for adjusting the gloss level of the Mipa 2K HS clearcoats as well as the 2K HS Express clearcoat CX 2. Coverage: approx. 10–12 m²/l.
Properties
- Matt gloss level 15–20 GU (60°) for high-quality matt paintwork
- Can be mixed in as a matting component: with CC clearcoat / CX 2 at a mixing ratio of 7:1 = satin matt, 4:1 = satin gloss, 3:1 = semi-gloss
- Uniform matt appearance on solvent-borne and waterborne basecoats
- High resistance to weathering as well as chemical and mechanical stress

Use
For matt paintwork, always paint complete components over their full surface – matt clearcoats cannot be polished, so spot repair is not possible. Stir thoroughly before use, strain through a 125 µm filter and prepare a test spray-out panel beforehand to determine the gloss level. Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
