The Mipa 2K HS Clearcoat CC 14 Thix is a thixotropic, VOC-compliant high-solid acrylic clearcoat for complete and partial refinishing of cars and commercial vehicles. Its strength: particularly high sag resistance and insensitivity to solvent popping when applied in thick films – for a brilliant clearcoat finish with optimum flow on solvent-based and waterborne basecoats. Coverage: approx. 10–12 m²/l.
Properties
- Very high sag resistance – minimised risk of runs, even at high application temperatures
- High resistance to solvent popping – generous spray application on horizontal surfaces such as roofs is no problem
- Brilliant clearcoat finish with optimum flow
- High resistance to weathering as well as to chemical and mechanical stress
- Perfectly polishable immediately after forced drying

Areas of application
The first choice when runs and solvent popping must not stand a chance – for example on vertical surfaces, on edges or in a warm booth. Hardener HS 45 is particularly suited to high temperatures and humidity. The matching 2K HS hardeners and 2K thinner are also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
