The Mipa 2K HS Express Clearcoat CX 3 is a high-quality PUR clearcoat with express technology that works entirely without oven drying: it is polishable after only approx. 60 minutes of drying at room temperature. Ideal for partial and panel refinishing of cars (a complete vehicle side plus bonnet) as well as spot repair. Thanks to its particularly elastic formulation it is also process-reliable on deformable parts such as bumpers. Coverage: approx. 6–8 m²/l.
Properties
- Polishable after approx. 60 min at 20 °C – oven drying is dispensed with entirely
- Forced if required: full polishability after 15 min at 60 °C or 30 min at 40 °C
- Particularly elastic – safe assembly of deformable parts such as bumpers
- Outstanding scratch resistance and lasting gloss retention
- Non-yellowing, resistant to environmental and weathering influences
- Simple 1:1 mixing ratio, ready to spray after adding hardener

Areas of application
The clearcoat for fast repairs without booth heating. Important: 2K hardener must be added to the basecoat (Mipa BC + 10 % MS 10 / HS 10 / HX 25; Mipa WBC + 5 % WBC hardener); polishing work should ideally be carried out within 3 hours; remove masking tape immediately after painting. For deformable plastics, flexibilise with up to 15 % Mipa 2K Elastic. The matching 2K HX Hardener HX 25 is also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
