The Mipa 2K EP Express Primer EPX is a fast-drying, chromate-free wet-on-wet filler based on epoxy resin for commercial vehicle construction and car repair. Very good flow, excellent overspray absorption and extremely fast drying: overcoatable after just 20–30 minutes with optimum gloss retention. Coverage: approx. 13–13,5 m²/l (at 25 µm dry film thickness).
Properties
- Express drying: overcoatable after 20–30 min, sandable after 3–4 h (20 °C)
- Chromate-free epoxy primer with strong adhesion on steel, aluminium and galvanised substrates
- Outstandingly suited as a primer before polyester body filler and PE spray filler
- Very good flow and optimum gloss retention of the subsequent paintwork
- Simple mixing ratio of 1:1 by volume

Areas of application
Ideal for fast throughput in the workshop: 1 spray coat (approx. 25 µm) is overcoatable after 20 minutes and sandable after 3 hours, 2 spray coats (approx. 50 µm) after 30 minutes and 4 hours respectively. Body filler can be applied over it after 30 min at 60 °C or 12 h at room temperature. After more than 48 hours of drying, sand before overcoating. Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
