Mipa 2K-Elastic is an additive for increasing the elasticity of Mipa 2K car and 2K vehicle paints (OC, AC, PUR), of Mipa 2K clearcoats with a 2:1 mixing ratio and of Mipa 2K-HS-Express-Klarlack CX 3. When painting deformable plastics, this flexibilising is necessary so that the paint film can follow movements of the substrate.
Properties

- Colourless – no effect on the colour
- The hardener dosage remains unchanged by the addition
- Shelf life of at least 3 years in the sealed original container

Areas of application
Typical use: painting flexible plastic add-on parts such as bumpers and spoilers. Blend 10–50 % of the additive into the base paint depending on the flexibility required, then mix with hardener as usual. Matching 2K clearcoats and 2K hardeners are also available in our shop.

Dispatch
Orders received by 1 pm on working days are dispatched with DPD the same day. Every shipment gets a tracking number; with DPD Predict you receive a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Standard insurance cover 520 € per parcel.
Dangerous goods
Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
