The Mipa 2K Acrylic Primer grey is a fast-drying, good-filling base coating with active corrosion protection for wet-on-wet application. It adheres excellently to iron, steel, GRP, aluminium and galvanised substrates – ideal in the chassis area, for example – and can be overcoated with all conventional Mipa 1K and 2K paints. Coverage: approx. 8–10 m²/l (at 30 µm dry film thickness).

Areas of application
The economical primer for larger areas: chassis, commercial vehicles, trailers or steel structures. Clean the substrate with Mipa Silicone Remover, sand aluminium with P 220 and steel with P 120, apply the primer and topcoat wet-on-wet after about an hour. Note: do not overcoat directly with solvent-based 2-coat basecoats (Mipa BC). The matching 2K hardeners and 2K Thinner V 25 are also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
