The Mipa 1K Plastic Primer is a 1K adhesion primer for most of the plastics used on cars: ABS, EP laminate, PA, PBTP, PC, POM, PP/EPDM, PPO, rigid and flexible PUR as well as PVC. It creates the adhesion required for the subsequent painting of plastic parts and is supplied ready to spray. Coverage: approx. 8–10 m²/l.

Use
For painting bumpers, spoilers, mirror housings and other plastic add-on parts: temper the parts for 60 minutes at 60 °C before painting, degrease thoroughly with Mipa Kunststoffreiniger antistatisch or Mipa Silikonentferner, sand with MP Soft Pad superfine and clean again. Then apply the primer thinly in one spray pass and overcoat with filler or topcoat after approx. 10 minutes. You will find the matching cleaners in our shop as well.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
