The Mipa 1K Adhesion Promoter is a completely colourless, universally applicable plastic primer and adhesion promoter. It adheres without prior sanding even on difficult substrates: steel, aluminium (also polished or anodised), galvanised substrates, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, chrome-plated substrates, powder coatings and cathodic dip coatings, as well as the plastics commonly used in the automotive sector (e.g. PP-EPDM, ABS, PC, ABS-PC, PMMA, PA, PUR, PVC, GRP). Coverage: approx. 8–10 m²/l.
Properties
- Colourless and UV-stable – can also be used under clearcoat, no discolouration
- Adhesion without sanding – saves sanding work and time
- Fast drying: overcoatable after approx. 10 min at 20 °C
- Overcoatable with Mipa 1K and 2K topcoats
- Supplied ready to spray, no hardener addition

Use
Ideal for painting plastic bumpers, mirror housings and add-on parts, as well as for critical substrates such as polished aluminium, chrome or powder coating. The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease; temper plastic parts before painting (60 min at 60 °C) and prepare them with Mipa Silikonentferner or plastic cleaner – you will find both in our shop as well.

Dispatch
Orders received by 1 pm on working days are dispatched with DPD the same day. Every shipment gets a tracking number; with DPD Predict you receive a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Standard insurance cover 520 € per parcel.

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
