The Mipa 1K Glass Primer is a transparent special adhesion promoter for painting glass surfaces. It changes the polarity of the glass surface and thereby improves the adhesion of subsequent paint layers – before overcoating with Mipa 2K acrylic and PUR topcoats or Mipa 2-coat basecoats (BC/WBC plus 2K clearcoat). Supplied adjusted ready to spray and immediately ready for use.

Areas of application
For all painting work on glass, e.g. design and decorative finishes: apply the glass primer thinly, allow it to act briefly and overcoat within 24 hours with Mipa 2K acrylic/PUR topcoat or basecoat plus 2K clearcoat. On difficult glass surfaces Mipa recommends a test application as well as the use of Mipa Glass Hardener PU 950-25 in the subsequent coating. The matching 2K topcoats and clearcoats are also available in our shop.

Dispatch

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
