Mild silicone and wax remover for pre-cleaning before painting. Low in aromatics (< 2 %), gentle on materials. 5-litre workshop container.

The LD mild silicone remover is a low-aromatic pre-cleaner for removing silicone, wax, oil and grease contamination before painting.

Properties

• Low in aromatics — < 2 % aromatic content, gentle on materials including plastics
• Residue-free — evaporates completely, leaves no deposits
• Universally usable — on steel, aluminium, zinc and plastic substrates
• VOC value 2004/42/IIB(a)(850)<743 g/l

Areas of application

For pre-cleaning and intermediate cleaning. Always apply wet and wipe dry with a second clean cloth before the cleaner evaporates. Dispose of cloths promptly (risk of spontaneous combustion from accumulated oils). Do not use on freshly painted or not yet fully cured surfaces.

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.

An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
