The Mipa Zinc Spray is a high-quality, high-build one-component zinc dust paint with active corrosion protection – over 90 % zinc content in the dry film. It reliably protects steel substrates, is suitable for touching up damaged areas on galvanised parts and weld seams, complies with DIN EN ISO 1461 and can be spot-welded once dry.
Properties
- Over 90 % zinc content in the dry film – high cathodic corrosion protection
- Heat-resistant up to 300 °C
- Conductive – especially suitable for spot welding
- Can be applied in high build: up to approx. 120 µm per spray coat
- Overpaintable with Mipa 1K and 2K paints, zinc-grey matt shade

Areas of application
For bodywork and steel construction: prepare the substrate to bare metal wherever possible – blast (Sa 2½) or de-rust by hand (St 3), clean with Mipa Silicone Remover and degrease. Ideal for weld seams and repair areas on galvanised parts. Mipa Silicone Remover is also available in our shop.

Dispatch
Orders received by 1 pm on working days are dispatched with DPD the same day. Every shipment gets a tracking number; with DPD Predict you receive a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Standard insurance cover 520 € per parcel.
Dangerous goods
Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
German islands
An island surcharge of 15 € applies to the North Frisian and East Frisian Islands, Helgoland, Neuwerk and Chiemsee. We will contact you before dispatch with the exact total amount.
