The Mipa 2K-Klarlack CA is a high-solids 2K-MS clearcoat based on high-quality acrylic resins, with UV protection and direct adhesion on bare ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The original appearance of the substrate is retained – ideal for protecting steel, galvanised substrates, aluminium, copper and brass transparently.
Properties
- Direct adhesion on steel, galvanised substrates, aluminium, copper and brass
- High UV and weather resistance – colourless and glossy (over 80 gloss units)
- Temperature-resistant up to 130 °C continuously, up to 150 °C for short periods
- Can be tinted with Mipa Brillant-Design or 2K-PUR-Autolack OC (addition max. 20 %)
- Shelf life of at least 3 years in the sealed original container

Areas of application
For professional use: a transparent protective coating on bare metal parts, e.g. wheels, trim parts or industrial components. Because of the wide variety of metal types and alloys, carry out an adhesion test on the original substrate beforehand; the clearcoat is not suitable for polished metals. Matching 2K-MS hardeners and 2K thinners are also available in our shop.

Dispatch
Orders received by 1 pm on working days are dispatched with DPD the same day. Every shipment gets a tracking number; with DPD Predict you receive a one-hour delivery window on the day of delivery. Standard insurance cover 520 € per parcel.

Aerosol cans, hardeners and certain solvents are classified as dangerous goods in limited quantities (LQ) under ADR. Dangerous goods handling is already included in standard shipping — no additional surcharge at checkout.
