The Mipa 1K Plastic Primer Filler is a filling, fast-drying plastic primer for the plastics commonly used in the automotive sector (e.g. PP-EPDM, ABS, PC, ABS-PC, PMMA, PA, PUR, PVC, GRP). Thanks to its special formulation it can often be used even on very difficult plastics such as PP without elaborate pre-treatment such as flaming or plasma treatment. Coverage: approx. 5–7 m²/l.
Properties
- Primer and filler in one – evens out slight irregularities on plastic parts
- Often usable on difficult plastics such as PP without pre-treatment
- Very fast drying: overcoatable after 15–20 min at 20 °C
- Overcoatable with Mipa 1K and 2K topcoats
- Long shelf life: min. 3 years in the original container

Use
For painting bumpers, spoilers, mirror housings and other plastic add-on parts: temper the parts for 60 minutes at 60 °C, degrease with Mipa Kunststoffreiniger antistatisch or Mipa Silikonentferner, sand with MP Soft Pad superfine and clean again. For PP plastics Mipa recommends a test coating on the original part. You will find the matching cleaners and thinner in our shop as well.

Dispatch
